We suggest you put the necklace on your child and place their clothing over it so it rests against the skin. The amber will begin to reach your child’s body temperature very quickly and then the child will ignore its presence. There are other aids designed for teething that can give the child’s increased need for chewing something safe to use. If it continually becomes a problem then put it around their ankle with a sock over it so they can't see it. Out of sight, out of mind!
